ViaCist® is a composition that performs two actions:
- Through the presence of Hyaluronic Acid and Chondroitin Sulphate 200 mg helps to maintain a correct impermeability of the bladder avoiding the reabsorption of toxic substances contained in the urine.
D-Mannose 500 mg binds to the structure of many bacteria, includinEscherichia Coli, promoting their elimination through urine. The Cranberry 144 mg is able to perform an antibacterial, antioxidant and
regulate the pH of urine. Ursine grape 100 mg performs a diuretic and antiseptic activity thanks to its component, Arbutin. Finally, Acidophilus contrasts the intestinal proliferation of the bacteria responsible for cystitis.
In the treatment of acute phases, take 2 sachets a day of empty bladder, away from meals for at least one week, and then continue with 1 sachet a day for at least 2 weeks. To allow mannose to bind to bacteria, it is good not to drink for 45min/1H after ingestion. After this time, drink plenty. Keep in mind that 1.5 /2 lt. of water per day promote urinary flow. In the case of a milder or continuous action, the recommended dosage is 1 sachet per day for 2 weeks per month.
In the case of urinary tract diseases, it is recommended for at least one month to: eliminate or reduce, during the acute period, sugars, spicy foods, pork and red meat, alcohol, coffee and other foods that may acidify the urine. Do not smoke. Avoid a sedentary lifestyle. Take special care with intimate hygiene. Change underwear frequently and use high temperatures and possibly disinfectants for washing. The use of condoms is recommended
Cranberry may interact with oral anticoagulants that are antagonists to vitamin K (eg, Warfarin and Coumadin). In subjects on oral anticoagulant therapy, to avoid the risk of bleeding, intake of cranberry dietary supplements should be under medical supervision. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of the reach of children. Dietary Supplements are not a substitute for a varied and well-balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
